Super Mario Bros
Instructions by Cami Dodson

Turning on
- Cartridge in Nintendo
- Press power button on Nintendo
- Turn on TV
- Turn TV to proper channel (try 3, 4, or tv/video)

Getting game started:
- At menu giving Mario or Duck Hunt choice, stay on Mario, press start
- Change from 1 or 2 player by pressing select
- Press start to begin the game
- Mario is controller 1 and he goes first. Luigi is controller 2 and plays after Mario dies.

Game Controls:
- Up - nothing
- Down - crouch
- Left - move left; while holding B, run left
- Right - move right; while holding B, run right
- B - hold to run; press to throw a fireball (if you've got fire-power)
- A - jump (hold longer to jump higher); in water you swim
- Start - pauses the game
- Select - nothing

Playing the game:
- Move right towards the end of the level
- Jump on top of enemies like walking-mushrooms, turtles, and helmet-heads to kill them.
- Smash blocks and bricks by hitting your head on their underside
- Powerups include mushrooms, flower, and star
- Points are rewarded for smashing bricks, getting coins, killing enemies, time it took to beat the level, and how high up you get on the flag
- Dying - touch a baddie other than with your feet, you die. Fall in a hole, you die. Touch a snapping-plant, fire-ball, or spikey red turtle, you die. You get 5 lives to start with. After you lose all your lives, you can continue and start at the beginning of the world.
- Extra lives - collect 100 coins and get an extra life. Get a green mushroom and get an extra life.
